Creating New or Edit Workflow : SharePoint Designer 2010

Create new workflow in SharePoint Designer 2010

1. After your site is open in sharepoint Designer 2010, click file> New >workflow and a new menu will appear.
2 .Now can begin to define your new workflow by adding a name, select the list to attach the workflow to.
3. And then choosing options related to how and when to start the workflow.


Edit existing workflow in SharePoint Designer

In SharePoint Designer

1. click file > open site
2 .Type the url of your site into the site name box below-then click open.
3. you will be prompted for your username and password if they are not saved enter them, then click ok.
4. After a moment your site will open-may take shorter or longer depending on the speed of your connection.
5. Now the contents of the site are displayed-click file>open workflow.
6. select the workflow from the list then click ok.
7. After a moment the workflow will open and you can modify or make changes.
